What is roof recovery?

Roof recovery involves installing a new roof over an existing one without removing the old roof. This approach leaves 95% of the existing roof in place. It not only saves time and prevents against potential water damage during installation but is also faster and creates less occupancy disturbance. In most cases, we can completely eliminate the need for fully wrapped scaffolding or a roof re-pitch. In some cases, our complete roof installation process can cost less than the bill for the full plastic wrap scaffolding. All our systems are engineer designed, come backed with a manufacturer's warranty and have a robust in-service history. Contact us today to see if roof recovery is suitable for your situation.

  • "more than 50% of the existing building stock dates from before the first energy crisis in the 1970s. Hence, a high potential for energy savings - and consequently a large reduction of greenhouse gas emissions - is presently available in the existing building stock. Building retrofitting measures are therefore of utmost importance for upgrading the building stock."

  • "A cost-benefit analysis showed the benefits of insulation outweighed the costs by almost two to one. This is a good return on social investment."
